Why? Why make a prosumer camera that has primarily been used for documentaries and reality television now shoot 3D?
Please, somebody, drop me a line and tell me why 3D should enter the world of documentaries, reality television, non-fiction television, and prosumer videos.

Would love to hear how you feel about this. I am perplexed and think 3D, outside of the movie theaters, is a weak gimmick for bad movies and nothing else. Someone take this junk back to 1985.
Why not make a prosumer camera with a bayonette to adapt Prime lenses and Still lenses? Why is that the most daunting thing for a video camera company to make.  Focus on presenting beautiful images first, not making weak images pop out of the screen.
And yes, DSLR’s that shoot HD are all the rage but they just cannot cut it in the documentary/non fiction/run and gun production world. If I were filming manhunters and we’re getting shot at the last thing I need to worry about is what my iso is at.
